Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the renderkit API and website. By creating a key or calling the API, you agree to them.

Your account and keys

You're responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all activity under them. One free account per person or organization; don't create multiple free accounts to dodge limits. Let us know promptly if a key is exposed and we'll help you rotate it.

Acceptable use

Use renderkit to render content you have the right to render. Don't use it to break the law, infringe others' rights, or to attack, overload, or scrape third parties in violation of their terms. Our fair-use policy spells out the limits, and we may suspend access that threatens the service or others.

Payment

The free plan is free. Paid plans, when available, are billed in advance each month at the prices shown on our pricing page. Optional overage is billed only if you turn it on. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the period you've paid for.

Beta

renderkit is currently in private beta. Features may change, and we may set or adjust limits as we learn. We'll give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect you.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Termination

You may stop using renderkit and close your account anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or the fair-use policy. On closure, you can request export of your account data.
