renderkit is a developer API. We collect the minimum needed to run it, and we don't sell your data or share it for advertising. This page explains what we hold and why.

What we collect

  • Your email — to verify your account, issue your key, and reach you about your account or the service.
  • Usage records — counts of your renders, timestamps, and the type of each call, so we can meter your plan and keep the service reliable.
  • Request metadata — your IP address and basic request details, kept briefly for rate-limiting and abuse prevention.
  • The inputs you send — the URL or HTML you ask us to render. Rendered output is cached so identical requests are fast; cached files expire automatically.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your data. We don't use it for advertising. We don't add you to a newsletter unless you explicitly opt in at signup, and you can leave at any time.

How long we keep it

Usage records are retained while your account is active and for a short period afterward for billing and accounting. Rendered files in cache expire on their own within thirty days. Request metadata used for abuse prevention is short-lived.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your account data, ask us to delete your account, or opt out of email at any time by contacting hello@keelhelm.com.

Changes

If we make a material change to this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
